Over 15 years ago KUD International was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kajima USA for the purpose of developing large-scale public-private projects. The premise then — and now — for forming this company was that there are numerous projects in the public sector that will not be built because the conventional means of financing and traditional delivery methods no longer apply. These projects include museums, educational buildings, libraries and athletic facilities. For KUD, they present not only an opportunity but also a responsibility to find a way to ensure that these important institutions be constructed.
In recent years, we have completed world-class aquariums in Tampa and Long Beach. We have developed professional baseball and football stadiums in San Francisco and Philadelphia. And today, we are undertaking the development of a large-scale research park in Israel. Few companies in the world have the wherewithal and the perseverance of KUD to undertake such ambitious projects. They require a belief in a vision, a considerable amount of patience, and the expertise and discipline to make the dream a reality.
